„Von Renoir bis Jawlensky“ – Seventy works of art by renowned 19th and 20th-century artists are currently on show at the Olaf Gulbransson Museum Tegernsee in the South of Germany. These works of art are rarely shown in exhibitions as they are all part of private collections from around the globe. Some of the pieces were not accessible to the public for decades. Some major works by the most influential artists of French Impressionism and German Expressionism are the exhibition’s highlights. The names of artists shown read like the who is who of European art history of the 19th and 20th centuries: Pierre Renoir, Paul Gauguin, Alexej von Jawlensky, Lyonel Feininger, Paul Klee, August Macke, Emil Nolde and many more.

I so hope to be able to travel to Tegernsee before this excellent exhibition closes on 8th January 2023. It would be great to meet other art enthusiasts and connections there.
