The second piece that made me remember my creative journey was a table made from English burl oak by George Nakashima. I got inspired to study the material and its natural beauty when I discovered his work. I learned woodworking and honouring the material before becoming a designer. Geroge Nakashima set me off on this journey, and I will forever be grateful to him for revealing the Soul of the Tree to me.
